On Inflation Potentials in Randall-Sundrum Braneworld Model

چکیده
We study the inflationary dynamics of the universe in the Randall-Sundrum typeII Braneworld model. We consider both an inverse-power law and exponential potentials and apply the Slow-Roll approximation in high energy limit to derive analytical expression of relevant inflationary quantities. An upper bound for the coupling constant was also obtained and a numerical value of perturbation spectrum is calculated in good agreement with observation. c © Electronic Journal of Theoretical Physics. Strong Planck constraints on braneworld and non-commutative inflation
Abstract. We place observational likelihood constraints on braneworld and non-commutative inflation for a number of inflaton potentials, using Planck, WMAP polarization and BAO data. Both braneworld and non-commutative scenarios of the kind considered here are limited by the most recent data even more severely than standard general-relativity models. At more than 95% confidence level, the monom...
متن کاملConsistency equations in Randall-Sundrum cosmology: a test for braneworld inflation
In the context of an inflationary Randall-Sundrum Type II braneworld (RS2) we calculate spectral indices and amplitudes of cosmological scalar and tensor perturbations, up to second order in slow-roll parameters. Under very simple assumptions, extrapolating next-order formulas from first-order calculations in the case of a de Sitter brane, we see that the degeneracy between standard and branewo...
متن کاملBraneworld inflation driven by dynamics of a bulk scalar field
We review a viable alternative scenario of the inflationary universe in the context of the Randall-Sundrum (RS) braneworld. In this scenario, the dynamics of a 5-dimensional scalar field, which we call a bulk scalar field, plays the central role. Focusing on the second (single-brane) RS model, we discuss braneworld inflation driven by a bulk scalar field without introducing an inflaton on the b...
متن کاملDegeneracy of consistency equations in Randall–Sundrum inflation
In a Randall–Sundrum type II inflationary scenario we compute perturbation amplitudes and spectral indices up to next-to-lowest order in the slowroll parameters, starting from the well-known lowest-order result for a de Sitter brane. Using two different prescriptions for the tensor amplitude, we show that the braneworld consistency equations are not degenerate with respect to the standard relat...
